Slams leg started hurting again in the same spot as it did a couple of years ago so Kimberly took him back to Raleigh Peds. The x-ray showed he had a spot on the other side of his hip this time. Doc wanted an MRI so we scheduled one right down the street. We thought he may be able to do it with out anaesthesia but to no avail his feathers showed before he got close to the MRI tube.
He now has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow at Rex with anaesthesia. The doc believes it is the same thing as a couple of years ago which is he's growing too fast for his body to keep up ,but wants an MRI to make sure.
**UPDATE**
Got the results back from the MRI, turns out it was just soft tissue damage. He probably hurt his hip jumping out of a tree. That's why we call him Slam and we set aside 50% of our health care spending account as the Slam fund.
